Psalm 33:12

In Psalm 33:12, we read, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” As we consider our own nation, we can sometimes wonder if our best days are behind us. The founders of our country foresaw that we would face struggles. They left us a monument that holds timeless wisdom—wisdom that can help direct America back to her roots.

Romans 16:17-27

As we close out the book of Romans, we conclude that Jesus is the One who faithfully loves us. Though Romans was not written to us, it was written for us. Paul shifts to a serious tone as he urges the Roman believers not to be deceived by false teachers within the church. He then draws our attention to “the mystery”. This is the glorious conclusion to the proof of His love for His Church, a love ultimately manifested in her resurrection and established forever for His glory.

Romans 16:8-16

Paul nears the end of Romans 16 by continuing his greetings and commending his fellow workers in Christ. He remembers many of the family of God with affection and gratitude. In the same way, God has given us a family in the church, where we are called to love, encourage, and care for one another as fellow members of the body of Christ.

Romans 16:1-7

Paul expresses his love and appreciation for his fellow laborers in Christ. These men and women faithfully served the Christian community, generously giving their time, resources, and God-given talents to advance God’s kingdom. The unity they shared is found in Christ and in His truths.

Romans 15:25-33

A genuine move of God will manifest itself in a desire to give and a desire for fellowship. Those who are led by their carnal nature will likewise reveal, through their choices and actions, what they value most. Therefore, accountability in ministry is essential. We are encouraged to stay the course, remaining generous with both our time and resources.

Romans 15:13-24

Paul is pleased with the progress of the church in Rome. He sees in them God’s goodness, their knowledge, and their ability to instruct others. In like manner, Yahweh will become for us everything we need to live productive, fruitful lives.
