The Apostle Peter has told us that we are to respond to persecution and unfairness with right living. We are to stop the mouth of our accusers by living holy lives. Peter now quickly tells us that living a holy life may not stop the harassment. So, here at the end of chapter 3, he tells us what we are to do in the face of unending pressure.
