Spiritual Immaturity
One can have length of life and not experience depth of life. On the other hand, one can have depth of life while having a short life. Length of life is not necessarily an indication of someone being a mature person nor is being in the church for your whole life a guarantee that you’re a mature Christian. Join us as we finish our study in Hebrews chapter 5 as we are given the signs of spiritual immaturity.
A podcast of Harvest Fellowship and Pastor Paul Mowery. We feature verse by verse teachings through the Bible, topical messages, and updates from the staff and lead team. For more information about Harvest check out harvestfellowship.com

Isaiah 9:6-7
It’s All About Christ
We find in scripture several places where the incarnation is all about Christ. Much of our struggle in life has to do with keeping our focus on what is most important. The Christmas season is notorious for getting us to miss what all of this is about. Join us as we look at a single verse in the book of Isaiah to correct our perspective on the Christmas season.

Hebrews 5:1-10
Christ our Great High Priest
The priesthood for the children of Israel was central to their faith. They understood that they could not go directly to God, but they needed a God ordained representative. For Israel, it required someone from the tribe of Levi. But now we are being reminded by the writer of Hebrews that there are two different priesthoods ordained of God and one is superior to the other. We learn that Jesus is of the line of priests that are superior to anything that Levi had to offer. Join us in Hebrews 5 as we take on the complexity of all of this, and once we understand, it should cause our hearts to burst forth in thanksgiving.

Hebrews 4:1-10
Where Do We Find Rest?
In the Old Testament Israel was given two “rests." They had a time of rest, the Sabbaths and they had a place of rest the Promise Land. The writer of Hebrews uses the example of ancient Israel, of those who failed to enter what God had given to them. The writer points out that these Hebrew believers in his day were about to make the same mistake. Even today we see many Christians who aren’t enjoying the rest that God has given, which isn’t a time or a place, but a person. Join us in our study of Hebrews chapter 4 to discover our place of rest.
