Lots of voices today will claim they have insight on what is most important to God. What makes today’s study so important is the question what’s important to God will be answered by Christ Himself. Join us as we learn what He desires to see coming forth from our lives.
Christ tells us that the purpose of His coming was not to destroy man but to give to man life. As we begin chapter 5 of Matthew, we come to what’s known as the Sermon on the Mount. Doing life Christ’s way is a sure recipe for bringing blessing into our lives. Join us as we begin to take a close look at that recipe.
Spiritual Warfare
The Scriptures tell us that we are surrounded by an invisible world that is in conflict. And our lives are affected by the outcome of that conflict. The Bible refers to it as spiritual warfare. But what is our role, and how can we be over comers within this conflict? Join us as we continue in our study in the Gospel of Matthew as Christ Himself gives us insights on how to live victoriously.
All of us should desire to be great in the Kingdom of God. But how do we define greatness? We come now in our study of Matthew to John the Baptist, whom Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, of all who have ever lived, none is greater than John the Baptist”. What is it that made John so great? Join us as we look into Heaven’s definition of greatness.
Matthew was a former employee of the Roman government, so it’s not surprising that he’s give us an understanding into what was happening in government at the time of the birth of Christ. Arriving at chapter two, he introduces us to a strange cast of characters. What we will learn is that much of what we believe about the birth of Christ is rooted more in tradition than in the Scripture.
Genealogy of the Messiah
As we begin our verse-by-verse study of the New Testament, the first thing we are confronted with is seventeen verses of names. This of course is the family tree of the messiah. And what we learn is that we are not exactly looking at the best that humanity had to offer. Join us as we discover that Christ was connected to great sinners even before His birth.
The Reward of the Follower of Christ
Coming very near to the end of the Book of the Revelation, Christ declares that He is coming and He is bringing a reward. Join us as we see this is not “Salvation” which is a gift. But rather this is reward for our service to Him over the course of our lives.
A Closer Look at the New Jerusalem
As we begin our study of Revelation 22, John the Apostle is taking us inside the city. What we discover is that this is a place of life, joy, and no doubt laughter. We find further evidence that our God is gracious and full of mercy towards us. Everything about this city speaks of God’s great love for us. Join us as we continue to explore the goodness of our God.As we close out chapter 21 of Revelation, we are given the description of the New Jerusalem. Studying this glorious city, we are looking straight into the goodness of God. And coming to a more complete understanding of that goodness, we should be convicted to love God with a greater passion. Join us as we discover greater depths of God’s goodness.
Coming to chapters 21 and 22 we find the completion of God’s plan for mankind. That completion is the overturning of everything that the curse has created. Join us as we look at the New Heaven and the New Earth.
The Scriptures hold out the promise that the troubler of the nations will eventually be no more. Here in Revelation chapter 20, we are told how his end will come upon him. Join us as we begin to study the final stages of God restoring creation to His original intent.
In Psalm 9, King David lays out the consequences for a nation that forgets God. And it’s clear that those consequences are dreadful. All of this becomes even more serious when we understand that America seems to be well on its way of forgetting God. Join us as we discover not only the cause of a nation being cursed, but also the cure, that a nation might be healed.
The second half of Revelation nineteen gives us the great battle to usher in Christ glorious reign upon the earth. Here we see that that the greatness of our God is profound and that He has no equal. He is a God who deserves both our worship and our obedience.
The New World Order is Destroyed
The Book of Revelation describes an organized attempt to defeat the plans of God. However, David writes in Psalm 2, that when the Nations gather against God, “He who sits in the heavens shall laugh." Our God never faces a serious threat to His dominion. Join us as we read of the destruction that is to come.
Chapter 18 is describing a city that when you saw it you wouldn’t immediately think that you’re seeing Babylon. This is a city that has rebellion against God hidden under the surface. Join us as we seek to discover what city has the spirit of Babylon hidden in it.
There have been throughout the years innumerable ideas put forth as to the identity of who the Bible calls the great harlot. Spiritual harlotry is seen in a person’s life when they leave their love for God and pursue another lover. Join us in our study of Revelation 17, as we look at the cause and the cure of this great sin.
Coming to the sixteenth chapter of Revelation, we are given the description of the Wrath of God. It will be a time of unimaginable destruction. However, for the child of God we can face whatever this world has coming to it without fear, because our Heavenly Father is in control of all things. Here, we must remind ourselves of the words of Christ, “When you see these things begin to happen, look up, for your redemption draws near."
Revelation 15 records events in Heaven that take place just before the great and terrible day of the Lord takes place. What is surprising is John informs us that at that moment there is a worship service that takes place. This event gives us insight on what authentic worship looks like. Join us as we seek to learn what does God desire to see in a church worship service.
We live in a culture that is dominated by the promotion of self. In fact, if we are not careful, we can find ourselves worshipping at the altar of ‘self’. This is far from what the LORD has intended for His followers. Let’s take a look at the life of Abraham and see what we can glean from the heart of a true worshipper.

In our next section of Revelation chapter 14, we come to the subject of hell. As unpleasant of a subject as it is, we would be well served to take a serious look at what we’re told about it. Closing out our study in the thirteenth chapter of Revelation, we come to one of the most mysterious subjects found in the book of the Revelation, the mark of the beast. Through out the years there has been endless speculation as to what this mark is all about. Join us as we simply allow the Word of God to give us insight and clarity to this mystery.
Making our way through chapter 13 of the book of Revelation, we come to an often forgotten member of the counterfeit Trinity, the false prophet. The Anti-Christ has a military and political focus, while this second beast seems to be focused on religious concerns. Join us as we see how in the final days of man there will be an exposition of deception.
Who is Anti-Christ and From Where Will He Arise?
Chapter thirteen is loaded with information concerning this mysterious figure known as Anti-Christ. Today there are endless speculations as to his origin. Join us as we seek to gain insight from just allowing the Scripture to speak.
It’s a strange concept, but John tells us in Revelation chapter 12 that war breaks out in the midst of Heaven. This war produces joy in one location and absolute terror in another. Join us as we look at who fights this war and who is effected by it’s results.
Who is the Woman That Brings Forth the Ruler of the World?
Arriving at Revelation chapter 12, we come to symbolic language. We know it’s symbolic because the text tells us it’s symbolic. The first symbol we are confronted with is a woman clothed with the sun. Join us as we seek to allow scripture to interpret scripture, that we might be led to Biblically identify this woman.
We are called to be worshippers. Christ told us that God is seeking those who will worship Him in Spirit and truth. But why worship? As we make our way to the end of chapter 11 of the book of the Revelation, we see heaven explode into worship and more importantly, why there is such an outpouring of praise to God. Join us as we see why heaven worships God.
As we arrive at chapter 11 of Revelation, we are introduced to the final two people who will be killed for their faith in Christ. And what we will see in this passage is it’s not our faithfulness that is in control of the outcome of our life, but God is the one who is in control of all things.
When will the Mystery be Completed?
We find the term “The Mystery” in several places in the New Testament. As we arrive at chapter ten in the book of the Revelation we discover the timing of when this mystery will be completed.
