Ready, Not Ready

Jesus said that there were certain signs that will indicate the closeness of His return. But recognizing the signs and being ready for the close of the age are two very different things. In Jesus’ parable of the ten virgins, five young women are called “wise” and five, “foolish” based on their preparedness. How can we know with certainty that we are ready for the coming Day that is ahead?

What our study in Second Peter will provide for us, is important instructions on how not to be deceived. In fact, Peter will inform us that if we follow his instructions we will never be deceived.
