Romans 3:27 - Romans 4:4

Justified by Faith

Paul reminds the Christian Jews that religion cannot save them and that mankind must be justified by grace through faith in Christ. When we believe God, He sees us as righteous.

Romans 3:11-26

The Pathogen

Paul exposes the depravity of man as a problem that must be addressed. Jesus is the righteousness that comes apart from the law, as revealed through the Law and the Prophets. It is only through faith in Him that we are made righteous.

Romans 3:1-10

The Oracles of God

The words of God were first entrusted to the Jews. Now, through the Gospel, they have come to us—producing faith that frees us from the consequences of sin. Since mankind has the ability to choose whom we will serve, we are ultimately responsible for our own destiny.

Romans 2:17-29

A Matter of the Heart

The Jews believed that judgment was for everyone but themselves. Paul confronts this mindset by emphasizing that a true Jew is one inwardly. In the same way, Christianity—or our religion—does not save us on its own. It is imperative that Christians cultivate a genuine heart relationship with God, as hypocrisy gives the non-religious world reason to blaspheme.

Romans 2:1-10

The Value of Humility

To judge others is to acknowledge that we know what sin is, yet often times we sin against the light that we have been shown. Patient continuance in faith leads to immortality, but obeying unrighteousness leads to God’s wrath.

Mother's Day 2025

Exodus 20

God’s expectation is that each child learns from their parents how to honor Him and respect others. He has ordained mothers to give life, and it is the duty of every believer to honor and respect them.

Romans 1:25-32

Exchanging the Truth for a Lie

Paul warns that rejecting the truth leads to profound consequences. When we exchange the truth for a lie and abandon natural relationships for unnatural ones, it initiates a downward spiral. This self-indulgence erodes the foundations of society, leading to moral decay and lasting harm.

Romans 1:17-24

Suppressing the Truth

Those who deny the Creator and His design are destined for a life of vanity and foolishness. Eventually God will give them over to their ungodly desires, but the gospel is the power of God unto Salvation for those who believe.

Transforming Power

When we look at the life of Paul and his passion to spread the gospel of Christ, we see a significant change of heart. He was willing to give everything for the sake of furthering its message. It is that same power—the power of the Gospel—that transforms the hearts of all who believe.

The Effectual Prayer

We have been commanded to pray…but do our prayers really make a difference? Our answer to this question will reveal 3 things: What you know of prayer, what you understand concerning God’s thoughts toward prayer and what you believe about God Himself. In this message, we examine James 5: 16-18 and specifically the prayer that has "great power as it is working."

A Church On A Mission

A Church On A Mission - Acts 1:8 & Acts 2:42

Isn’t it incredible to watch a great plan come together? The careful planning, coordination, and execution—when everything falls into place, it’s truly something to behold.

God, the Master Architect, has been unfolding His great plan of redemption since the beginning of time, working through every generation to reconcile humanity to Himself through the finished work of Christ. It’s a story of His amazing grace, bringing salvation to the world.

Before His ascension, Jesus gave His disciples two crucial commands—instructions that would define their mission and shape history. It was a global calling, an enormous task given to a handful of Galilean hillbillies, ordinary men from a small corner of the earth in Palestine.

How could they possibly accomplish it?

Join us for our study in the book of Acts, as we witness a church on a mission, boldly fulfilling Christ’s command to go into all the world bearing witness to the risen Christ and making disciples of all nations.

Matthew 27:57-66

Evidence

The Burial of Christ is evidence that He did indeed die. No obstacle could keep Him from rising again and no amount of suffering could keep the disciples from testifying of it. The gospel continues to be preached unto this day.

Matthew 27:24-31

His Stripes

We are told in various text that Pilot is unable to do what is just and please the Jews at the same time is responsible for the scourging of Jesus. We also are held responsible as our sins require that the wrath of God be satisfied and we know that is by Christ’s stripe we are healed.

Matthew 27:11-23

The Governor and the King

Pilot reveals his character in his willingness to torture Christ knowing that He was innocent. The Jews being blind, chose the thief rather than Jesus. We now have opportunity to chose the sinless Son of God who was given for the sin of mankind.

Matthew 27:1-10

Choices

We seen that Pilot, the Jewish leadership and Judas have all compromised and place value on the wrong things. Judas has regrets but turns to the priests rather than Jesus who offers forgiveness to those who chose Him.
